This appeal arises from the dismissal with prejudice of the appellant Sykes First Amended Complaint, on the ground that the complaint failed to state a claim for which relief could be granted. The action, which sought injunctive relief and damages against a wide variety of defendants, was brought under the Civil Rights Statutes, 42 U.S.C. Â§Â§ 1983, 1985. Although Sykes allegations are too numerous to state fully, essentially five separate "claims" were attempted to be stated.
